In the tone generator we have decided on a 20 Mhz clock with a 5 volt output to run our system. With the frequencies being very important to sound, we have decided to use 4-bit binary counters (7476) and JK flipflops (74LS112) to divide down the frequency. Other parts needed for this project have not been decided on. Here are some general pictures.
