In the switch to Blackboard 7 - there is different email behavior in the ORGANIZATION pages (not the Class pages).
You'll see an EMAIL button - but if you look at the choices - it will only give you the "leaders" for the Organization. You might be a leader and want to send out to the other participants - how do you do that?
When in doubt - go to the CONTROL PANEL!
Step 1) Go to the Control Panel in the BB7 Organization - you'll see new options - click the Send Mail.
Step 2) Now you can see all the different choices that we used to have in the "Communication" button of BB6!
In BB7 - the email option in the COURSE pages is "basically" the same - but, there is a separate "Communication" area under a "Tools" heading - as opposed to a separate button.
