If you are reusing material from one class to the next term, it might save you some time to "clone" it to the next class in Blackboard. (I've used this with my "Staff Information" and with software for our Physics labs.)
There are two courses here .. the SOURCE course (containing the stuff you want to copy) and the DESTINATION course (location to which it should be copied). Warning: It would be best if the Destination course does NOT contain a Content Area with the same name as what you are moving over. For example, in our case, we are going to move over a Content Area called "Lab Software" ... It would be best to make sure that area didn't exist in the Destination .. if it does, delete it before making the copy!
Step 1) Sign on to Blackboard and click on the COURSES link up at the top. Find your DESTINATION course, and copy the Course ID {you could select it and press CTRL-C to copy it to the windows clipboard ... or select it and to to the Edit menu in the browser and select COPY}.

Step 2) Now go back to your SOURCE class and select the CONTROL PANEL.

Step 3) Select the COURSE COPY option down in the lower left corner.

Step 4) You will probably select the COPY COURSE MATERIALS INTO AN EXISTING COURSE option.

Step 5) Paste in (or retype) the Course ID for the DESTINATION course. Then select whichever materials you want to copy over. (You can make multiple selections ... in this example we are just moving the Lab Software area .. so there will be a button created in the Destination course {and all the materials contained under it}.)

Caution: Do NOT check the "Enrollments" button - this will bring students over from one class to another (sometimes across terms) - it causes problems for the students!

Step 6) You should get a message like this ... but you won't get an email (go figure). Now, if BlackBoard is really busy, the material might not show up right away. But, within a few moments, if you switch over to that destination course (go back up to the Courses link at the top) - you should find the material has successfully moved over! [The final image shows the material has successfully arrived in the new class!]

CAUTION: When you do a course-copy - sometimes the buttons don't show up properly, or other things are missing ... if so, take a look at this page : I copied or imported .. but now the buttons are missing, or the number order has duplicates - help?
