Tablet PCs ... a brave new world!

We are starting to roll out pen-enabled Tablet PCs on campus - with great new possibilities .. but maybe there are some things to configure, or tweak - here is a collection of tips/tricks. Getting Started

• How can I configure the Tablet to give a "regular" presentation to the overhead display?
• Tablet PC Tutorials: There used to be a tutorial when I first booted the machine - but I told it to go away .. can I find it again?
• Some "calming" thoughts about the transition from laptop to tablet (by Scott Schneider)
• What happened to my wireless? Check to make sure switch is on! (Thanks to Jeff Morrissette for tip suggestion!)
• How can I boost the power of my wireless antenna? (your system might already be boosted?)
• Don't twist pen to "see what is inside"!! - Tip replacement needed? Use this method (image taken from tablet help manual).

WriteOn - this is a screen drawing "overlay" - allows you to "ink" over top of ANY application/webpage/etc. - whether they are pen-enabled or not!

FingerPrint Sensor

• How can I enable the fingerprint sensor on the Tablet for logging on (instead of username/password)?
